We had a fabulous outing to Ria Formosa and although there was a bit of wind the boat handled really well. I hired without a skipper and was in touch with Manuel in the days before the hire to discuss the weather which at one stage was looking quite bad. Manuel had lots of practical advice and was very helpful and thorough. October 24 Amazing experience, we added a skipper to our trip , and what an experience. Andre the skipper was extremely knowledgeable of the coast . Andre offered an outstanding experience. We were able to see everything we wanted to see and more . Even let me drive the boat and teach me docking maneuvers. Mr. Manuel the owner was very friendly and great personality. Me and my friends rented the RIB for a day, without a skipper. Manuel is a very friendly guy. He explained everything well and after the necessary paperwork we were on our way quickly. The boat looked brand new and was completely clean. We opted to rent the waterski’s but even on a relatively quiet day the waves made it too hard to ski properly. This was especially true for the beginners in our group. We spent our day exploring the beautiful coastline along Albufeira, we checked out the caves and we anchored at some of the amazing beaches. Space on the boat was plenty for 6 guys. During the rental, we ran into a small technical issue outside of anyone’s control. Manuel helped us out swiftly and he went out of his way to help us. I was in charge of organising a yacht charter for my sisters hen party, after contacting numerous companies with questions / concerns / requests for advice i was blown away by how amazing Susana from Skipper Portugal Yacht Charters was … she helped with every detail & made the daunting task easy. Six months later when we arrive in Vilamoura to finalise timings etc .. the team were so friendly & as a bonus we got to have a sneak look at thr yacht ….. wow wow wow no pictures can show what a treat you are in for. On the day everyone was blown away literally & physically (it was a tad windy 😂) but the crew made sure nothing got in the way of Sinead having the most amazing day ever.
